What Is The Remedy For Body Pain With Headache?

Hi. My husband (67) came home this morning shivering violently. Had come on suddenly half hour previously. He doesn't seem to have a temperature but now says (9 hours later) he aches all over and still feels cold. He has a bit of a headache but doesn't have a sore throat, cough or runny nose.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query. I have noted the symptoms of your husband.

The most likely cause of his symptoms are an infection such as viral fever, which can cause feeling of cold and shivering and body aches.

As of now, you can treat him with paracetamol tablets.

If his symptoms persist, he may be taken to his GP for further evaluation.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
