What Is The Remedy For Black Spot On Lip?

I have a black spot on my lip caused through injury. I have had it checked by a skin specialist who says it is nothing to worry about. At the time it did not bother me but now I think I would like it removed. I have been reading various home remedies which include lemon juice....what would you recommend?

Hi,

You are probably having post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. It is a thing, not to worry much. Do not try any home remedies as it can cause irritation. Sometimes, black spot occurs due to a condition called fixed drug eruption, if you are repeatedly taking some drugs such as nimesulide or floroquinilones. Avoid sun exposure. A change of tooth paste and stopping lipstick application will work sometimes.
