What Is The Remedy For Anti Thyroid Peroxidase?

Dr, Matthew am female my age 37 years , married have one child ,, I had test before one year to Anti Thyroid Peroxidase Abs ( ATPO ) the Result was 52.79 IU/m , our Doctors here telling me is normal its not disease but I can t be pregnant , please tell me and help me

Hi Dear,


There are evidence that, raised Anti TPO levels can cause infertility and pregnancvy loss etc. However, your levels are not that high. You need to meet an infertility specialist and they will ask further history and after examination, other tests may be required. At this stage, it is unwise, to put the blame on Anti TPO. As you are 37 years and wanting to have a baby, please don,t delay further in seeking help from an infertility specialist.
