What Is The Remedy For Addison S Disease?

Hi I m 20 and I have just been diagnosed with Addison s disease, my body always tingles including both arms and both legs going numb, my head feels like it s tightening and my heart randomly thumps really hard once every now and again, should I be alarmed?

Thanks for your query.
It is the failure of the adrenal gland to secrete hormone(glucocorticoid,mineralocorticoid & androgen) from it.
It may be occurred due to many causes.
Replacement therapy of the deficient hormone is mandatory.
Though there are many side effects of long term use of cortisone,you have to take it.
The common side effects of steroid are hypertension, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, tendency to infection, gastric problem etc.
Regular check up will help you to prevent the side effects.
