What Is The Remedy For A Painful Swollen Right Arm After Discharge From The Hospital?

Hello. I was admitted into the Er on 2/13 and discharged on 2/14. I was given I v fluids the day of admission which was taken off the following day. My right arm towards upper arm(bicep) is very tender and a bit swollen to the touch. Nothing compared to my left arm which is a normal size. There is no redness within my right arm and upper arm but I don't understand why it so tender with pain and swollen. I was given a total of 4 1/2 bags of fluids

Hi. This would have been the same arm on which IV fluids were given.
The remedy would be: Elevate the whole arm with the help of pillows / support above heart level in a lying down position for the gravity to assist in absorbing the fluid faster. This is the best way.
It the area develops redness or you get fever, you have to visit a Doctor for additional medicines.
