What Is The Recovery Time For Avulsion Fracture In Ankle?

I fell in practice Monday, and went to the ER yesterday. I thought it was going to be a simple sprain, but since I've already sprained this ankle before it made my situation worse- I have an avulsion fracture, but the hospital says they don't know the severity of it. So the put me in a splint and I have to go to the Ortho next week for a follow up. They say if it's bad I will be out for 6-8 weeks. I was wondering if it isn't as bad as they think it is, would I be able to play in my game next Friday?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got avulsion fracture .You want to know that if it is a mild fracture then can you play in nearly 10days. I think you at least need plaster for your fracture I think you will not able to play next Friday. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
