What Is The Recovery Time For A Callus Post Cryotherapy?

I have a callus on the top middle knuckle of my right pinky finger. The callus was confirmed via a biopsy. After multiple treatments of cortisone injections, my derm.decided to freeze it via cryotherapy. It s been a little overy 3 weeks and my knuckle has a small healing scab and has flattened out a bit but now it is red all around and appears inflammed and swollen. Prior to the cryotherapy, it was a red bump on my knucklend. I am tempted to buy some salicylic acid and start using it because I hate the way this is looking. Or should I try to have it frozen again with the cryotherapy?? Please help. Thanks, Karem

Suggest you to kindly wait till all the redness and swelling settles down.
The choice of another session of cryotherapy would be decided by your derm after the resolution of the treated callus. Intense deep moisturisers would benefit you in the interim.
