Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Dear Ms. Lillo,
There are many causes of chest pain. At his age, it is important to make sure that he is not experiencing angina or having a heart attack. Other causes may be heartburn (reflux), asthma, muscle injury or strain. I would suggest that he see his physician or a clinic soon.
Thank you for your question.
