What Is The Reason For The Nails To Deteriorate?

My nails are so soft and pliable they are peeling away. Prior to nail issue I ve had rough, dry cuticles, with toughened hard skin extending along sides of some nails. I have RA and take Embrel, Methotrexate, Planequinel, Folic Acid and also experience Dry Eye and generally dry skin. Is it the RA or maybe the meds causing my nails to deteriorate? Thanks.
