About 4 weeks ago I ran into a trailer towing bar and injured both shins. They were deep, puncture type wounds that broke the skin. They have been healing slowly, but last week they began itching intensely and now they are much bigger and red around the sore. The scabs came off a couple of weeks ago, and now they look like fresh scrapes. Could the redness be from scratching? I made the mistake of putting Neosporin on and evidently I m allergic to that. I m wondering if I should see a doctor, or give it more time.
