What Is The Reason For Jaw Pain During Landing In A Flight?

Hi I went on a trip and when the air plane was going down to Land got an intense pain in my jaw it felt like someone was screwing my jaw shut. At one point j thought my head was going to explode or my jaw was going to come off the hinges. I have gerd so i didnt know if it was my acid reflux going into over drive.Please tell me any remedies you may have I have to get back on the plane to go home and I am not excited at all:(
