What Is The Purpose Of Rantac Dplus Tablets?
why rantac dplus is used? why grandmother is using it because doctor prescribed it . totally she is using daily 20 tablets of different varities before one month that is jan 1st she was admitted in hospital due to fever and suddenly she got heart attrack and now doctors said that her heart enlarged and they can t do anything because her age is 75 yrs and they prescribe some tablets to her so i need to know which tablets is for which puporse?

Rantac D Plus contains ranitidine and domperidone, which is commonly used to treat both vomitting sensation and gastritis. it is most commonly used drug in reflex gastritis.
Secondly taking this drug for a long time may cause decreased gastric juice secretion.
So it is not adviced to continue for a long time.
So the main purpose of taking these medicines is to reduce gastric juice production inturn decrease acidity and formation of ulcer.
