General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The Renolog tablet is prescribed for the medical management of chronic renal failure condition.

* It works as an Alpha Ketoanalogue, which reduces urea production at urea cycle level in mitochondria of liver parenchymal cells.

It is supportive therapy to slow the progress of the underlying pathology and not curative, but supports great in absence of dialysis condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
