Hello I m a 60 year old man who exercise 5 days a week at the gym for 75 min each day. I consider myself in very good shape. 6 1, 220 pounds Question: What s the limit of my hearth rate when I exercise? 140, 150 or 160 Question: How long does-it take a the end of exercising to go from 150 to 110?

The target heart rate during exercise for a person aged 60 is between 80 to 136 according to the american heart association. This may vary slightly from one person to the next.

In terms of the decrease in heart rate from 150 to 110, this would also vary individually but generally it is normal if the rate drops by at least 12 beats a minute.
This means it would take 3 to 4 minutes normally.
