General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The given chest X-ray findings are suspicious of tuberculosis of the lung. Your brother should consult his doctor for further clinical evaluation and certain lab tests such as CBC, ESR, Sputum for AFB to confirm the infection. If confirmed he has to take a course of anti-TB medications for at least 6-9 months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
