What Is The Painful Reddish Lump Towards The Inner Part Of The Butt Cheek?

Hi, I have a very painful lump/bump towards the inner part of bottom butt cheek. Im going into my 3rd day and it feels like its getting bigger. One part is slightly tough (flesh colored) and the surrounding area is reddish and very soft. Im thought I was a ingrown hair at first, but It doesnt resemble any of the photos looked at online. Im not sure what It could be. Any ideas?
Thank you!

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic,
It seems like you are having furuncle (boil) over your buttocks. It is a bacterial infection of the hair follicle. You require a course of oral antibiotics. Keeping a clean cloth dipped in hot saline will decrease pain and swelling. I recommend you to see your primary physician for getting prescription of antibiotics.
Hope this helped,
Take care.
