What Is The Pain In My Right Flank Along With Odor In Urine?
I've been having pain in my right flank area that is sometimes burning and sharp. My urine also has a horrible odor. I went for a ct scan today of my abdomen and pelvis but wont het results For several days. The pain has been getting worse for 6 days now. Started in right kidney area and now has moved near my lower right flank/near floating ribs and spreads at times to my lower right abdomen. Any ideas
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Pain in the area of right flank, with sharp and burning could be a renal stone. 2. CT scan would confirm or an ultrasound would have also been helpful. 3. Take antispasmodics like spasmoproxyvon or mefenamic acid to reduce pain. Also take plenty of water. 4. Odor in urine will require urine examination. Get a urine microscopy done. More opinion possible after CT scan results. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
