Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I studied your case and I think that it is MRSA infection in your back which is causing trouble to you. It has causes last surgery failed. And it is causing back pain in you. I do not think that spinal fusion is successful in your case.
So I would recommend you to get MRI of the spine to see if there is infection or it is healed. If MRI shows that there is still fluid and granulation tissue then you will need debridement of the bone graft and six weeks antibiotics according to culture sensitivity. If infection is completely healed then we can plan any future surgery.
You will need a repeat bone grafting, and may be a rod and screws in your back. I would also suggest you to not to delay this treatment.
