hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, he may have infection at belly button.
my treatment advise would be :
1. he may take a course of antibiotics preferably tab cefixime 200mg twice a day for 5 days.
2. he may take pain killers like tab ibuprofen and tab levocetrizine if there is itching.
3. topical antibiotic like fusiderm can be applied for 5 days.
4 . maintain hygiene.
if persistent after 5 days, consult a dermatologist nearby.
wishing him a good health.
thank you.
