What Is The Normal Blood Sugar Level For A 8 Year Old?

My, daughter blacked out Sunday Morning and came to about an hour or so after getting up. This is the second time this has happened. I checked her blood sugar level and it read 115 before eating anything. I was wondering what the normal blood sugar level for an 8 year old child would be?

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

Normal fasting blood glucose level is 70-110 mg/dl , this is before eating anything in morning. Random blood glucose( checked anytime in a day) is 110-180 mg/dl.
This balckout can be due to many reasons low blood pressure, vertigo, low blood sugar, etc. So refer her to a physician, if problem persists.

Don't worry she would be fine
Hoping your query is solved.
