General & Family Physician Dr. Mohammed Tauseef's  Response
Hello Cynthia, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
Your blood pressure is normal if it is below 120/80 mm Hg. However, few doctors recommend 115/75 mm Hg as a better goal. Not to worry, i really appreciate your efforts to keep yourself healthy. You have a absolutely wonderful lifestyle and just follow it for the rest of your life. This is the reason you have lost weight. If you smoke or drink QUIT. Limit your salt and high calorie food intake. For your age the daily salt intake should be 1,500 milligrams. Avoid stress and sleep for a minimum of 8 hours daily, Practice relaxation techniques like Yoga, Meditation, Breathing Exercises. Monitor your blood pressure and blood sugars at home.

Wish you Good Health and Do Take Care.
