You seem to have developed pruritus gravidarum. Now this is essentially a type of itching which is seen in pregnant women due to various causes related to the pregnancy. Most importantly, you need to understand that we need to conservatively manage this itching as to prevent any danger to the growing baby. You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.
You might need to apply a topical steroid cream like cortisone over the affected area twice a day for few days. You can continue to take oral antihistamines like benadryl along. See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy. You might need a course of oral steroids.
Hope it helps,
Dr Geetika Paul.
