Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cough which occurs mainly due to bacterial or viral infection of upper respiratory tract. It is due to poor or compromised immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with warm saline gargles three times a day. Keep sipping warm water. Avoid using hot, sharp and spicy foods. Avoid using carbonated beverages. You should take Loratidine syrup for stuffy nose. Do steam inhalation. Take combination of antibiotics such as Azithromycin long with Ibuprofen if it is due to viral cause. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment accordingly.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
