What Is The Meaning Of The CT Scan Report Taken After Experiencing Abdominal Pain?
I am experiencing lower abdominal pain and sudden abdominal distension. I had ct scan done and the findings are: right adnexal 3 cm x 1.6 cm cyst, prominent cervical region and fluid in the cul de sac. also two hepatic hypodensities consistent with cysts the largest measuring 1.1 cm. can you explain all of this?

The 3 x 1.6 cm cyst in right adnexal region is somewhere close to the ovary. It can cause slight pain and your gynecologist might suggest medical treatment following which an ultrasound scan might be required. The fluid in cul de sac might be normal if in small quantity.
The hepatic hypodensities (in liver) are small and if its mentioned that they are cysts, then there is no reason to worry.
