What Is The Maximum Dose Of Deriphyline And Betnesol Injections That Can Be Administered In 24 Hours ?
My younger brother age-53 years, male & has been suffering from Epilepsy since 12 years of age. Cancer detected about a month ago as Bronchogenic Carcinoma secondary stage. Was advised management of the patient and no intrusive surgery. At present has problems of Severe Headache , problem in breathing(suffocation) and has problems in swolloing any liquid. He is being administered Deriphyline & Betnesol Injs IV. What is the max dose of these medicines that con be given in a 24 hours cycle. - Col K Paathak

you shouldn't give inj.betnesol for breathlessness in bronchogenic carcinoma.
you can give deriphylline & other bronchodilators for breathing problem as permmited by the maximum dose for that particular medicine per kg bodyweight in its literature.
