What Is The Life Expectancy With Working Condition Of Heart At 25%?

My husband cannot have serary because vissel can to small. He had a heart attact jan 2013. He was at 11% at the hospial. He could not a 3 bypass. So it has been just med. He is a deitic.his heart got up to 40% last oct. Now he is at 25 to 30% with jest med. What can I expect with him?my email is mn3654@ ymail.com. Linda Nowak

I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. With this presentation, the best thing to do now that can prolong his life is a heart surgery. Drug may relieve the symptoms but at times the condition can be resistant to medical treatment. Given that his heart is now functioning at 25 to 30% and he is on medication, one cannot say with certainty how long he can live but if surgery were to be done, I think it would go a long way to prolong his life. In my opinion, I would suggest he sees a cardiologist or heart surgeon for proper assessment and management.
