Hi, thank you for asking Healthcare Magic. I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. With this presentation, the best thing to do now that can prolong his life is a heart surgery. Drug may relieve the symptoms but at times the condition can be resistant to medical treatment. Given that his heart is now functioning at 25 to 30% and he is on medication, one cannot say with certainty how long he can live but if surgery were to be done, I think it would go a long way to prolong his life. In my opinion, I would suggest he sees a cardiologist or heart surgeon for proper assessment and management.
I hope that answers your query. If you have more questions or any follow up query do not hesitate to write to us. I wish him well
