What Is The Life Expectancy With Forty Percent Heart Function?

My husband had been diagnosed with cancer of the bladder, had a tracheotomy, had a heart attack and a triple bypass, and just recently his kidneys failed. He has also just been told, that his heart is only functioning at forty percent. I want to know how, long can life be sustained with the forty percent heart function

Hello. Your husband does have multiple problems. However, following a heart attack, EF(measure of heart function) of 40% is not bad and as he has already a bypass done, his heart should not be a problem in the near future. What can be more of a problem is his bladder cancer and kidney failure, depending on how bad they are. Trust that answers your question.
