What Is The Life Expectancy When On Morphine For Secondary Breast Cancer?

My friend has very recently and suddenly been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer of the bone and possibly one organ, she is on morphine. She is the mother of my daughter s partner also. they are due to go on a week holiday. We are not sure how long she will have at this stage - would it be better for them to stay and spend the time with her? how long do you have once on morphine?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concern. You hadn't mentioned the stage of cancer but as you said she seems to be forth stage. She may not live longer than a year but its not in anyones hand to say exactly how long she will survive. Be with her, she actually in need of family support.
I find this answer helpful
