What Is The Hard Cord N The Back Of The Hand?

I have a vein on the back of my hand that has always been popped out visible. Yesterday evening I noticed what feels like a hard cord below my wrist and I can feel that hard cord like feel for about 4 inches. The popped out vein on the back of my hand is not quite visible now. A little pain now and then and when I push it around. It's now 24 hours later. Should I be concerned?

It may be normal vein....
Did u had any intravenous injection in that vein??
But if it's brings ur attention much...u can attend a physician for routine check up...
Or can done color doppler for vein of that hand for ruling out any pathology. .
