What Is The Fluttering Sensation In My Femoral Artery?

Is it a problem if I have a sensation in my groin area of the right femoral artery...it seems to be with my pulse...its a fluttery feeling? I am 60 years old and I run a 10 K every August. this year I ran a 10 mile race in April, as well. Is there anything to worry about? I need to start building mileage, again, for the 10K in August.
