Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I would keep a possibility of Seborrheic dermatitis of face. It presents as red, scaly, itchy patches which may sometimes ooze and form yellowish crusts. The patches can be distributed over the scalp, eyebrows, sides of nose, chin and upper lip.

If I was your treating doctor I would have asked you to use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone lotion/cream twice daily for 2 weeks or so, which would make it fine.

Seborrheic dermatitis is a remitting and relapsing condition. You might have to use a topical immunomodulator e.g tacrolimus or pimecrolimus for maintenance.
