What Is The Explanation For Rapid Heartbeat In An Overweight Individual Suffering From Flu?

Hi doctor, my doctor took some medication for the flu last year. After taking it, her heart began to raise. Then it stopped. Since then on occasions, she has complained about her heart raising. Is this cause for concern? Must say that she s a bit overweight for her age. Is this a contributing factor too?

Dear sir

Over weight patients usually suffer from harmonal disturbances especially adrenal harmones, pulse rate is inversely proportional to blood pressure.. check for bp once. Low blood pressure cause giddiness and other symptoms.

So it recommeded to undergo adrenal panel tests like measuring serum cortisol, adrenaline..
Review with the results

Thanks.
