What Is The Effect Of Vitamin B 12 Level Of 1300?

As per your instruction I have checked the Vit B 12 sereum and the result is 1300 two weeks before the normal range given by them upto 900, Now I am taking injection once in a week. How long I should take this injection? Now I am feeling O.K. only once in a while I feel some pricking sensation. Regards Radhakrishnan

If the normal range is up to 900 and your level is 1300, then you have higher than normal levels of B12 and do not need replacement therapy.

If your results were below the normal range then you would need replacement either orally with tablets or by injection.

It has been shown by medical studies that the use of oral vitamin b12 tablets of 1 to 2 mg in strength for 3 to 4 months is as good as using the injections.

If your level of vitamin b12 was low then you would need to continue the b12 replacement for the long term.
In some cases it is lifetime therapy.
