congenital subaortic memberane requires surgical excision and this is an open heart surgery.usual period of this surgery is about 2 hours .and once your surgery is over and after you are discharged from hospital you will have to be little careful for initial 1 to 3 months.after that you will live absolutely normal unrestricted life.wish u successful surgery and quick recovery.
