General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I am sorry to say that mere reading of 160/110 mm of Hg is sufficient to prescribe some medicine for high blood pressure .
As blood pressure ( high may be primary , secondary or essential ) so in my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion as physical examination is very important .
Good luck.
