Hi,

The dosage of powergyl suspension below 8 years is usually 2.5- 5.0 ml (25-50 mg of Ofloxacin and 62.5-125 mg of Ornidazole) and it is to be given for 4-5 days. In case of your child the dosage may be 2.5 ml two times a day for 4-5 days. Usual dosage of ofloxacin in children is 3-5 mg/kg/day and of Ornidazole is about 10 mg/kg/day.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
