Hi,

Zocef (cefuroxime) is a cephalosporin group of antibiotic commonly prescribed to treat susceptible bacterial infections like pneumonia, urinary tract infection, and soft-tissue infections such as cellulitis or wound infections. The prescribed dose is standard and required to treat infection in old age. Its common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and allergic reaction.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
