Hello,

You are on Glimiperide 1 mg as well as 2 mg with Metformin (Zoryl M1 and M2). But it is clear that with these two tablets glucose levels are still not in good control. For that we need to look at weight, height, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise and lipid profile as well as BP readings.

In diabetes control drugs play an important role but more important are the diet and exercise as well as maintaining near normal body weight. So please do look at those aspects. As regards adding a drug like Sitagliptin, that can be done, you can take Sitagliptin 100 mg with Metformin just after lunch, that should help in gaining better glucose control. But more importantly above mentioned aspects need to be looked more carefully.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
