HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Crestor is the trade name for the medication rosuvastatin. This is in the family of medications called statins, they work through a particular mechanism to decrease the cholesterol.
It is very helpful in reducing LDL and VLDL types of cholesterol.

Lopid is the trade name for a medication called gemfibrozil, it works in a different way from the crestor and it is particularly helpful in reducing triglycerides and VLDL.

They would together to make sure, all this types are normal.

I hope this helps
