What Is The Cure For The Swollen Uvula That Started After The Sinus Infection?

I have a swollen and ulcerative uvula that started approximately 2 days after a cold ( or sinus infection?) started. I have been on augmentin, Claritin, and ibuprofen for 3 days now. My uvulitis is not better. Warm salt water gargles aren't helping much either. Please help!

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, If there is no fever, please use hexidine gargles 3-4 hourly and use some analgesic and proton pump inhibitor. Please apply triamcinolone gel over the ulcerated area with a finger and things should be fine in 2-3 days. regards
