Welcome to HCM!

I have read your question and from my clinical experince I can say that your symptoms are reflective of some infection; possibly of throat/ upper respiratory region.

It is not at all a serious condition, and I have seen excellent response with cefixime 200 mg twice. a day, with warm saline gargals four times, with some antacid. the pain usually show good response to Diclofenac sodium, taken when needed.

Reducing spices, and salt from diet for some time will help you get better fast.

I would suggest you to get your blood tests done and blood pressure measured by some doctor, this will rule out high BP and check platelet counts.

Take rest and continue to eat ( even if you don't feel like eating, take some liquids to prevent dehydration).

Hope the reply is useful
