What Is The Cause Of Scrotal Itching?
hello doctor. i am having prickly/ itchy sensations on my scrotum. i also have the odd itch around the anus and inside the penis. i had protected sex with a woman 4 days ago but did not know her sexual background. Have i contracted some sort of sti? thank you.

This may just be a dermatitis or fresh fungal infection as it is possible to be transferred from the vaginal secretions in spite of condom.
Apply liquid povidone iodine to the whole area.
Also watch for signs of scabies and lice infestation, all are a common problem.
Consult a dermatologist if this does not help as you may need a proper diagnosis and treatment will depend upon the diagnosis.
