Hello,

I can understand your concern. It seems that you are suffering from either ear problem or TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) problem which lies near ear and can give referred pain to the temple area.

However, as the situation indicates more towards the ear problem, my advise to you is to consult an ENT specialist for clinical examination of the ear. If infection is present, you may need to do an antibiotic course.

If the ENT surgeon negates presence of infection in the ear, you should consult an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the clinical examination of the TMJ and further investigations like x-ray, CT scan etc. The possibilities regarding TMJ can include infection of the joint cavity, subluxation of the joint, developmental deformity of the joint etc.

You can take Acetaminophen 500 mg or Ibuprofen 400 mg for the pain relief. These painkillers can be taken up to three times in a day.

The problem of different temperature of both hands seem like a part of different problem and a physician can be consulted for the examination and investigations regarding the condition.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
