What Is The Cause Of Numbness In The Arm When I Fell On The Left Side?
I fell on my left side this morning, my arm went numb. Now my shoulder hurts to move it in any position other than straight up. There is a steady discomfort down my arm. It hurts when I press on the palm of my hand and I can t lift or move without pain. Any suggestions?

Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. Loay Khan's Response
The pressure on the nerves is causing the numbness ,and the joint tendons are stressed from hours of pressure during sleep. you must make an effort not to sleep on you side and this should decrease the pain and discomfort in duo time, This will take time but relief is possible, during sleep you will go to sleeping on the side so tray to sleep on your back or any other position as much as possible. Chronic pressure can cause ligament damage and inflammation.
