What Is The Cause Of Feeling Extremely Bloated After Drinking Or Eating?

I feel extremely bloated and kind of thirsty, but eating or drinking anything makes me feel extremely bloated. I had some flu-like symptoms for about six hours three weeks ago (weak, trouble keeping food down - but didn't vomit, little bit jaundiced, small fever). With the fever I had infrequent bowel movements lasting about two weeks (with excessive straining). While bowel movements are more normal, the consistency is thin and I still feel extremely bloated. What could be causing this bloating?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, as long as the abdomen symptoms are concern several reason could be there but most common could be dyspepsia and if it is associated with other symptoms like nausea, vomiting, fatigue, fever, loss appetite, abnormal bowel habit, then it could be due to infection and it could be virus or bacteria (Protozoa) if the symptoms persist for more than three to four days then it may required investigation, viral infection may not need specific treatment unless it is indicated like in viral hepatitis, it is better to get done the routine hemogram and routine urine test, hope this information helps.
