last night me and my boyfriend was having an intimate night and afterwards i was coughing up a little blood and then shortly after that i started having breathing pains under my right rib cage coughing throughout the night with little blood as well but this morning i was fine what do you think that was all about

In my opinion you should first undergo chwst x ray. By your symptoms there are few possibilities like pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, tuberculisis etc. In all these diseases one can have blood in sputum, exertional dyspnoea and chest pain. So get done chest x ray and consult pulmonologist.
