What Is The Cause Of A Bump On The Scrotum?

I have a red bump on my scrotum, with a white tip. I just popped it in the shower, and it was painful. When I popped it, pug came out, then it bled a very very miniscule amount. What could this be? I am sexually active, and I do not think it is an STD.

Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have a painful bump with white tip on scrotum .

This could be mostly either a staphylococcal infection of hair follicle (Boil) or a Sebaceous cyst .However final diagnosis can be confirmed only on clinical examination by a qualified General Surgeon.

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.

Ensure to observe proper personal hygiene by cleaning your genitals with warm water .
