What Is The Cause For Sore Throat With White Spots And White Patches On Labia And Clitoris?
Ive been having a series of symptoms. I had a sore throat with white spots and swelling and went to urgetn care and was given cephalexin for strep. The swelling went down slightly but white patches were still there. I went back and the strep test was negative. I told the doctor i think it could be an std..she gave me the shot (rocephin i believe) the white patches are starting to lesson but now my labia and clitoris are very sore which they werent before and there are very small brown spots all over my labia. what could this be

I would keep a possibility of drug reaction to rocephin(aphthous ulcers). I guess the white spots in the throat could have been candidal infection(oral thrush).
I would advice my patients of oral thrush to use a clotrimazole mouth paint 3-4 times daily.
The spots on labial and clitoris that you see after the injection may be aphthous ulceration (drug induced).
If i was your treating doctor i would have asked you to use a topical steroid cream/ gel twice daily for a week.
An oral Vit B-complex preparation would also be helpful in aphthous ulceration

Go for your blood sugar check up to rule out diabetes and raised blood sugar if you are more than 40 years of age.
You can use clotrimazole cream or sertaconazole cream over the affected areas under medical supervision. I suggest you to take antifungal tablet by mouth such as fluconazole 150 mg alternate days for 15 days.
