What Is The Cause For Shivering After Recovering From Pneumonia?

my husband had pneumonia in july. since then his fever spikes every few days and he gets the shakes really bad. we give him tylenol and usually within 30 minutes he starts calming down and everything goes back to normal. this leaves him feeling extremely weak. what could be causing this?

From the history I could make out that your husband had pneumonia for which he has taken treatment but the spikes of fever is disturbing you.
This could be due to persisting of infection in the body of your husband.
I would suggest you to consult your Consultant and find out the exact cause of fever spikes through proper investigation.
