What Is The Cause For Painful Black Bruise After A Triple Bipass And Crodit Artery Surgery?

My mother is 61 yrs old: History of COPD and Diabetes. Had triple bipass and crodit artery surgery last MAy. Now she has on both hands below thumb . a black bruise like mark that is raised and very painful. To me it looks like it has a white center. I thought it looked to be puss.CBC on Monday says he white cell count is., so she is still within range. The right hand looks like therei is ared mark that follows the vein halway now to the elbow?????

this might be some form of vein inflammation, and requires a physician to examine it. diagnosis usually requires an ultrasound to make sure there is no clot in the deeper veins. if there is, then one may need blood thinners. I would recommend seeing a primary care doctor as soon as possible
